The Maria Mulata is a black bird, similar to a crow, that can be found in the northern coasts of Colombia.

It features shiny, sleek feathers, giving a majestic air around it. Beware, though, for the Maria Mulata is a thief. The Maria Mulata is a thief who is ready to steal your food once you remove your eyes from it.

The Maria Mulata is so popular in that area that a song was even dedicated to this mischievous bird. See it here (lyrics in Spanish with English translation).
