Cartagena is, seemingly, an innocent looking place with nothing to worry about when there, but that would soon change as soon as person were to step out from under the shade and feel the burning heat with which this place has been bestowed.

Wearing a jacket while in Cartagena can certainly prove to be a very big mistake, undoubtedly.

Bogota may be close to the equator, but the elevation keeps the place cool. Cartagena remains as hot a baking sheet with temperatures averaging at eight degrees all year round, with ninety percent humidity.
