Invitation from INTERNATIONS Bogotá...

By Eduardo Cardenas at 08/20/08 17:56

Hi guys.

Just wanted to introduce you to a website that you might find helpful if you are looking for a community of expats in your area.

InterNations is the first international online Social Network exclusively for people living and working abroad. As a network of trust, InterNations is a place where its members can interact with other internationally-minded individuals sharing the same situation abroad, similar interests, and needs. Members of InterNations can get and keep in touch with private or work-related friends and acquaintances on a global and local level and exchange trustworthy and relevant information on specific topics with each other.

Come, See, Conquer

By Website Introductions at 08/16/08 12:57
The very thought of a jungle has different effects on different people. Some of you might get scared but mostly people are thrilled by the name, mainly because jungles are rare these days, though most of us are used to live in concrete jungles which we call modern cities. But still there are natural jungles and sea coasts which invite you and Capurgana is one of those places

Bogota is Colombia's largest city. It is also Colobia's economic, cultural, historical, and political capital. Majority of the businesses here in Colombia have their headquarters in this historic city.

Emeralds in Colombia

By Website Introductions at 08/13/08 21:36
Everyone has a reason for going to a foreign nation. It may be just because of the beaches. Or it may be just because of the good-looking people. Or it may be just because of the culture and architecture, while some would rather see the special minerals

This is the case for Colombia, where half of the world's total emerald collection is acquired. People go to this nation just to be able to catch sight of some of the world's most beautiful emeralds.

Gorgona Islang

By Website Introductions at 08/13/08 21:21
Similar to Alcatraz, Gorgona Island used to be Colombia's island prison, where the country's top criminals were brought. This has ceased during the mid-1980's.

Today, Gorgona Island returns to its tropical paradise image as it now plays host to forest wildlife, sandy beach resorts, and lots of greens.

Now is the time to visit Gorgona Island. Check Paisa Tours for more information.

Welcome to Bahia Solano

By Website Introductions at 08/11/08 11:53
Bahia Solano is one of those towns that you really won't call as a beach town, as it does not have a decent beach resort in it. However, it plays some sort of a central role because of the numerous beaches surrounding it, making it a perfect place to build hotels on.

Bahia Solano is also quite known for its deep-sea fishing features, something that cannot be easily seen in the nearby areas.

By Gringos, for Gringos

By Website Introductions at 08/01/08 02:12
Who could give a gringo sound advice about being a gringo in Colombia but another gringo? Websites that are created by gringos and targeted to attract other gringos, in my opinion, are the best ones out there if you want to know more about expat life in Colombia.

Linked to this post is one of those gringo guides to Colombia that are made by gringos.
