 Have you heard of Lord of the Rings? I'm sure you have, though, personally, I didn't enjoy watching a single LOTR movie. Seriously.Anyway, my point here is that New Zealand had a boost in tourism when LOTR (some scenes or all of the scenes, I do not know) was shot there. In the same way, Cartagena will have a boost when Love in the Time of Cholera by Garcia Marquez is released this coming January. It's a romantic book, as I can see, having the romantically and arhitecturally rich Cartagena as its setting. Looks like a cross between Rome and Mexico to me.
