Colombia is surely fighting its way to economic superstardom and doing every way to get to that status. The companies based in this country knows this and are doing their part. For instance, Helicopteros Nacionales recently bought three more helicopters to take advantage of the growing demand for oil exploration. With oil resources steadily going scarce, this is, indeed, a booming industry--and Helicopteros makes sure it has its piece of the pie. Are you an expat living here in Bogota? Isn't it just lonesome to feel like some sort of alien immersed in a sea of local Colombians? It isn't as if they're bad people (they're friendly!), it's just that it's incomplete without seeing your fellow expats, right?Do not worry. You are not alone. In fact, the people here at poorbuthappy.com are also itching to meet up with expats with you. Check out their conversations for more details. The Canadians are moving! They are moving south. They are moving to Colombia! The real estate industry of Colombia is facing a very hard but flourishing year. Many tourists and expats come back or decided to live in Colombia for good. The city of Medellin is one of the most visited city in Colombia and offers a good variety of real estate properties. Cartagena, Colombia, used to be one of the rebel hotspots in Colombia. Because, this otherwise beautiful colonial beach city scared tourists and potential investors. In recent years, however, a rebel crackdown ha been taking place in this city. Hopefully, these unwanted elements will start to flee this beautiful place. If Cartgaena, and in general, Colombia, can do it, everyone can do it. It's all a matter of discipline and willingness.
