La Quajira, is actually a small department of Colombia located in the northeast region facing the Caribbean Sea and the country of Venezuela. The capital of La Quahira is Riohacha.

This region is amass with indigenous people and tribes, examples are the Wayuu people that are noted for their beautifully woven bags and nice, great alcohol spirit drink called chirinchi.
