An article posted on MACLEANS.ca - "Saving Colombia" by Kate Lunau describes all of the the positive things made by Álvaro Uribe starting from his presidency in 2002 when the country was in bad shape and guerillas where about to dominate major cities of the country.

It strongly focuses on Uribe's moves how he brought security and prosperity to the country. Mainly the article discusses what Álvaro Uribe has ultimately contributed to his country.
