The recent local elections for mayors, governors and other state and city legislators went super great. First in Colombia's history, their election got the lowest violence since they start voting their own officials.
For the 86,449 candidates competing for 18,527 positions, 20 candidates lost their lives and 15 of them are in the hands of terrorist organizations.
