Who said old people have to stay in homes for the aged and settle there? Indeed, that is probably the case in America, but not in Colombia. The culture of respect for the elders are prevalent in this part of the globe, at the very least. And that is probably the most important thing to consider when you are retiring abroad, more than the cheaper cost of living. Here in Bogota, you can do almost anything a younger citizen can do.
