Colombia is an amazing country mainly because it offers every imaginable scenery, and climate. Usually one thinks only of the beautiful beaches, or the capital city of Bogotá. It has, however, marvelous, snow- covered mountain ranges (sierras), that definitely will attract mountain climbers and ecology fans. Nature lovers will love to photograph its wildlife, glaciers, lakes and geology. It is essential to get the services of a good guide, as there can be dangers lurking if one does not know their way around.
