If one were to read about Colombia in the newspapers and internet news services, the image is that of a hotbed of crime, drug trafficking and guerrilla warfare. In spite of the half-truths and exagerations involved, people still travel to Colombia for a wonderful and enjoyable holiday. Colomia offers a first class array of excellent tourist destinations worth considering for an unforgetable vacation. The Pacific and Atlantic coasts with their own tastes and scenery, the sierras or highlands, the rain forests and Amazon basin. It would be a pity to rule it out!
I'm going to travel to Cali, Columbia to look for a small farm to purchase. Does anyone have any ideas on the cost range for farms from 5 - 25 hectors or say 10 to 100 acres? Also, what is it like to retire in Colombia on just Social Security plus a small income in addition. Thanks, Wayne
